What to do about children's language disorders

The child is unable to express what he or she means clearly, and the adults stand by, anxious but helpless. I believe many people have had this experience. This may be a language disorder in children. I think you may not know enough about this term. I hope the following introduction can be of some help to you.

Hearing loss can also cause language abnormalities. If a child cannot hear the sound of his own voice, it will be difficult for him to speak. Communication abnormalities refer to abnormalities in both speech and language. Speech abnormalities refer to abnormalities in speech clarity or fluency, and language abnormalities refer to difficulties in understanding the language symbol system, that is, the development of listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities is impaired.

a. Communication: is the exchange of ideas, information or concepts. It can be non-verbal and can be conveyed through body language and facial expressions. The necessary conditions for communication are a sender, a message and a receiver. As long as the sender can convey his message correctly and completely and the receiver can fully understand the message, the meaning and purpose of communication has been achieved.

b. Language: It is a set of established symbols or words produced in a systematic spoken language, used as a tool for humans to express and receive information.

c. Speaking: Speaking is expressing language in an audible or oral way. It is a way of communication between people.

The production of speech involves the following four processes:

(a) Breathing creates energy for pronunciation.

(b) Vocalization is the production of sound through the vibration of the vocal cords.

(c) Resonance is what gives sound its unique quality, making it easy to identify the person who made it.

(d) Articulate sounds are the movements of the mouth and tongue that produce the phonemes of speech.

Damage to any of these processes will lead to language abnormalities, but will not necessarily interfere with language learning or reading and writing. d. Cromer's definition of language abnormality is that it is an abnormality that is not caused by other obstacles (such as hearing impairment, mental retardation, personality abnormality).

Children's language disorder is a relatively common form of language disorder. Medical cases in recent years have shown a trend of increasing incidence of cases. After understanding the above, you must have a deeper understanding of children's language disorder. Then, in your future work and life, I believe that if there are similar problems with children around you, you will no longer be in a hurry. It is our honor to help you.
