Child's stomach ache after meal

Child's stomach ache after meal

The physical health of children is an issue that parents are very concerned about. Since children are still in the developmental stage, if they are sick but not treated in time, their physical development will be greatly affected. Some children may have stomach pain after meals, which is most likely caused by nutritional imbalance in the food they consume. So, what should we do if our child has a stomachache after a meal?

First, my appetite became poor and I had no interest in eating. For a newborn baby who is breastfed, he is in an important stage of growth and development, so he is more likely to be hungry. Because his gastrointestinal movement is very fast, he will be hungry again in about two or three hours, and he spends almost every day eating and sleeping. But if suddenly one day the child does not like to breastfeed and suddenly loses interest in eating, and if the child has started to eat complementary foods and shows signs of picky eating or partiality, you will also find that the child is slowly getting thinner.

If the child does not catch a cold during this period and is in a good mood, the above situation is most likely due to roundworms in the body. There is another situation that the child suddenly likes to eat a lot and has reached the state of overeating, but the child's weight and height do not increase, and he is much shorter than his peers. This is generally a problem with the spleen and stomach or there are roundworms in the stomach. As long as we notice it carefully, we should be able to feel it, and it is very obvious that the child's development is slowing down.

Second, the child will have his belly rubbed often and will feel pain around the belly button. Most roundworms live in the human intestines, and they do not stay in one place but often move around, causing pain wherever they go, probably in the stomach area.

And this pain will last for a long time, or it will be irregular, so sometimes the child will cry suddenly, which means he has started to move, and then he will keep covering his stomach and rubbing his stomach, and after a while it will disappear by itself. If this continues over and over again, the child’s mental state will not be very good.

Third, always scratching the anus with hands. This situation mostly occurs at night and is most serious, because this is when the creatures in the stomach are most active, so the place always feels uncomfortable, and the child is always irritable and has many bad emotions. If parents pay more attention, they will find white worm eggs in the child’s feces. When I saw it, I was basically sure that this thing was roundworms in the child’s stomach.

So how do we prevent this kind of creature from growing in our children's stomachs in normal times?

First, hygiene must be maintained. This habit must be cultivated from an early age. Children must wash their hands before and after meals, cut their nails frequently, and help them clean up in time after coming back from outside. Second, when parents prepare meals for their children, they must wash vegetables thoroughly, especially vegetables, and choose uncontaminated food. Also, meat must be cooked thoroughly, otherwise there will be a lot of dirt in it.

Third, children's clothes, sheets and quilts should be washed frequently, and their underwear should be changed frequently. Parents should help their children develop hygiene habits gradually, so don't neglect it!
