Why does the back of the child's head hurt?

When children experience pain in the back of the head, it is often related to some accidental injuries. For example, when a child hits the back of his head on the ground while playing, it may cause this pain. The back of the head is relatively soft compared to other skulls, and the back of the head of a child is especially fragile, which can easily lead to some accidental injuries and concussion. This is very harmful to children and they should go to the hospital for examination in time.

Why does the back of the child's head hurt?

Children's bodies are generally fragile, so they are prone to physical discomfort. If the back of the head starts to hurt, many of them are caused by a lack of vitamin D and mental tension, which means that the brain development is slow. When thinking about problems or feeling nervous, it is easy to have insufficient blood supply, which can also cause pain in the back of the head. It is also recommended to go to the hospital for a brain CT scan to see if there is any potential brain disease.

How to tell if your baby is sick

1. Look at the eyes

A baby with sufficient qi and blood will have bright, lively and focused eyes; if the baby's eyes are dull and lifeless, it means that the baby has insufficient qi and blood.

2. Look at the smile

A smiling baby, whether young or old, represents peace and harmony within the body. Babies can only express themselves by crying. Babies who cry easily must have something wrong with their body. It is also difficult for older babies to accurately express where the discomfort is in their body. Therefore, as long as the baby can eat and sleep with quality and quantity, and is happy and laughs all day long, this is a sign of the baby's health. If a baby who loves to laugh gradually becomes less fond of laughing, it means that the baby has been unwell recently and parents should pay attention.

3. Look at the hair

A healthy baby has black, thick and smooth hair; if the hair is sparse, yellow, standing on end and not smooth, it means that the baby is lacking in Qi and blood or has a nutritional imbalance.

4. Look at the skin

A healthy baby's skin should be light pink, elastic and lustrous, which is a sign of sufficient Qi and blood. If the baby's face is dark, blue, yellow or white, it means that the baby has heavy cold and dampness in the body, poor gastrointestinal function, indigestion, anemia, etc.

5. Look at the ears

Ears with perfect, round shapes, and that feel fleshy and soft to the touch with less bone indicate that the baby has sufficient kidney energy. However, ears that do not look pretty, with more bone than flesh and that are hard, indicate that the baby is born with kidney deficiency, which means that the mother's body is deficient in both Qi and blood throughout the pregnancy, affecting the baby's health.

6. Look at sleep

Babies who fall asleep quickly, sleep soundly, breathe evenly and silently, and sleep through the night have sufficient Qi and blood; those who have difficulty falling asleep, are easily startled and wake up easily, sleep restlessly, turn over frequently, urinate frequently at night, breathe deeply, or snore mostly have insufficient Qi and blood.

7. Look at the blue veins

Babies who have blue veins on the bridge of the nose or at the ends of their eyebrows have severe cold in their bodies, poor digestion, and insufficient Qi and blood.

8. Touching hands

Babies with sufficient Qi and blood should have warm hands at all times; babies whose hands are cold all day long have insufficient Qi and blood and heavy cold and dampness in their bodies.
