The impact of precocious puberty on children

Depressed personality. Children with precocious puberty may carry a heavy mental burden prematurely because they are different from their peers in body shape and appearance, and may develop feelings of inferiority, fear and anxiety, which will have a long-term negative impact on their future mental health.

Endocrine disorders. Precocious puberty itself is an endocrine disease, but the degree of endocrine disorders in children varies from person to person, that is, there are differences in severity and urgency. Children with mild symptoms mainly show imbalance in sex hormone levels, while children with severe symptoms will develop or be combined with other endocrine dysfunctions and show more clinical manifestations.

So when parents find that their children's bones are developing too fast, they must go to the hospital for examination immediately. Usually, a bone age examination is done, which can very intuitively show whether their children suffer from precocious puberty.
