How to avoid scars on children's foreheads

How to avoid scars on children's foreheads

It is inevitable for children to bump into things in our lives. When children are learning to walk, they always need to fall down before they can get up. Because children's skin is relatively delicate, they are particularly prone to scars after falls. If the scar is on the forehead, it will affect the appearance. So how can children avoid scars when they break their foreheads?

If you rub the keloid gently with fresh ginger slices as soon as the scab has just fallen off, do this three times a day for 2-3 minutes each time. This can prevent the granulation tissue from continuing to grow, leaving no scars on the wound and keeping the skin surface as smooth as before. Vitamin E can penetrate into the skin and play its moisturizing effect. Poke a vitamin E capsule with a needle, take out the liquid inside and apply it on the scar and gently massage for 5-10 minutes. Doing this twice a day will have a better effect.

It is best not to use any medicine on children. Protect the child’s wound, do not let the wound get wet, and do not let him pick the wound himself. You can use some aloe vera. But it is best to do a test on the skin before using it, just in case the child is allergic to it! Applying olive oil is also good, it can effectively inhibit pigmentation!

You can use massage method, rub the scar with the base of your palm three times a day. This method is most effective for wounds that have just scabbed off. You can also apply vitamin E on the scar and gently massage it, which will also have a better effect.

Generally, after facial trauma, it is best to go to the plastic surgery department of the hospital for cosmetic sutures. Spicy and irritating foods should be avoided after the operation. Usually, silicone gel scar removal ointment can be applied after seven days to prevent scar proliferation. At the same time, attention should be paid to sun protection.
