The causes of tinnitus in children are generally ear embolism, blockage in the ear, and ear inflammation. The most common one is adenoids hypertrophy. Why is adenoids hypertrophy the main cause of tinnitus? Because of the anatomical structure of the human face, ears and nose, there is a canal connecting the middle ear cavity and the nasal cavity. Adenoids hypertrophy is common in children. When the adenoids hypertrophy to a certain extent, it will block the tube connecting the nasal cavity and the ear and block the Eustachian tube. Blockage of the Eustachian tube will cause hearing loss, tinnitus and a series of other symptoms.

In addition, the most important thing is to check whether there is adenoids hypertrophy in the nasopharynx to see if the adenoids hypertrophy causes deafness and tinnitus.

Since adenoids hypertrophy is more common in children, it is a common disease in children. Therefore, parents of children with related symptoms, such as nasal congestion, mouth breathing, hearing loss, hearing insensitivity, or children with ear pain or ringing in the ears. Or children who often have a cough that doesn't get better, or have a recurring cough. It is recommended that you take your child to the ENT department for a physical examination to avoid sinusitis, hearing loss, pharyngitis, or even tracheitis.
