6. Baby's ear pain may be due to earwax

Earwax, commonly known as "earwax", is secreted by the cerumen glands under the skin of the ear canal. When earwax accumulates, it can block the ear canal, causing hearing loss and ear pain. Once water enters the ear canal, the earwax will expand and press tightly against the ear canal, causing ear pain.
