One and a half year old baby always crying

It is inevitable for babies to cry as they grow up. Many mothers feel particularly upset when their babies cry. In fact, sometimes babies cry because they feel uncomfortable and look listless. If a one-and-a-half-year-old baby always cries, especially when awakened from sleep, he is likely to suffer from convulsions. So what should I do if my one-and-a-half-year-old baby always cries?

The main reasons why babies wake up crying:

1. Waking up from a nightmare - Children also have their own dreams. But it may also be that something happened during the day that stimulated the baby, such as the barking of a dog, a sudden loud quarrel among adults, or the baby fell off the bed during the day and caused a shadow, and the scene would reappear when lying in bed. In this situation, the baby usually bursts into tears with eyes wide open. This is when the mother needs to comfort the baby with soft words.

2. Dependence on the mother - Although the baby is older, he may still want to breastfeed at night. They are in a period of coexistence of dependence on their mothers and independence, and not being able to find their mothers may cause them to panic, so mothers don’t have to worry and can calm them down by just feeding their babies a few bites.

3. The baby has stomach discomfort - this is the most likely phenomenon. The baby eats improper food or catches a cold during the day, and the discomfort symptoms appear at night. The baby can only vent and express his discomfort by crying.

4. The baby’s lack of adaptability to the environment - the indoor environment may be dry, stuffy, or too cold, which may cause dissatisfaction in the baby, so what you need to do is to change the indoor environment and try to make the baby comfortable and acceptable, so that they will not cry.

5. There is no reason for this, and this is a completely possible phenomenon. It is a normal phenomenon for babies to wake up crying in the middle of the night. Parents can just coax the baby to fall asleep quickly.

The crying baby needs to be dealt with quietly. Parents must be patient and not cry louder than the baby. They must not loudly coax the baby to sleep or shake the baby. Talk to your baby in soft words, pat them gently, soothe them, and they may fall asleep peacefully after a while!
