How to cure a fever in children quickly

With climate change and increasing temperature differences, colds and flu are one of the most common diseases. A heat cold is caused by a large temperature difference in the body when the temperature is very high and suddenly it becomes cold. Heat cold is a type of cold. You should seek medical attention or take medicine in time, because many serious diseases are caused by colds. So how can children recover as quickly as possible after catching a cold? Let’s learn below.

1. How to cure children's heat cold quickly

1. Strengthen exercise to enhance the body's ability to adapt to temperature changes.

2. Do not abuse antipyretic and analgesic drugs. It is difficult to reduce fever caused by heat colds, so do not abuse antipyretic and analgesic drugs. To prevent children from sweating too much, becoming dehydrated, or even fainting. Supplement water and salt appropriately.

3. Do not take drugs that reduce mucosal secretions. After catching a cold, the nasal mucosa contracts reflexively, causing it to dry out. Bacteria and viruses invade the body through the nasal mucosa. After infection, other symptoms of the nasal mucosa appear, and runny nose increases, which is conducive to the outflow of viruses and bacteria. Therefore, do not take drugs that reduce mucosal secretions, such as anti-cold drugs. Anti-cold drugs are not suitable for children, especially those for adults.

4. Patients should get adequate rest, drink plenty of water, eat vegetarian liquid food, and be careful about eating greasy and difficult to digest foods. Common foods such as onions, garlic and vinegar also have a preventive effect.

5. The air in the bedroom should be circulated, but not blown directly.

6. Diet therapy plays an important role in the auxiliary treatment of heat and cold, but the choice of diet therapy should also be based on the different symptoms and types of patients.

2. Diet therapy

Wind-cold type

Typical symptoms: severe aversion to cold, mild fever, obvious headache and joint pain, heavy nasal congestion, clear nasal discharge, no thirst, thin white sputum, no obvious throat pain, or only throat itching.

Recommended dietary therapy - Coriander and Scallion Drink: 15 grams of coriander, 3 pieces of scallion (with roots), wash both, add appropriate amount of water, boil and then cook for another 5 minutes.
