What to do if your child's fiber content exceeds the standard

The food or fruits we usually eat are rich in dietary fiber, which is very good for our body. However, in real life, we encounter things that we cannot explain, such as children's fiber exceeding the standard. When encountering such things, many parents may not know what to do. If you are the same, you might as well learn the following methods, which may be effective in dealing with such problems.

Diet therapy is an ideal method to remove lead. Increase the protein content in the diet and eat more foods rich in vitamin C and acid. Some foods or traditional Chinese medicines such as garlic, carrots, kelp, mung beans, yogurt, milk tea, tea, black plums, spinach, cabbage, lettuce, lemons, persimmons, grapes, bananas, apples, soy products, Chinese yam, and money can combine with lead to reduce its toxicity or make it non-toxic, and some can promote the excretion of lead from the body. Here are some recipes for removing lead and calming the nerves for your selection. The Chinese medicines used are generally available at Chinese medicine stores.

Carrot milk: 50 grams of carrots, cook them, take them out and mash them, then mix them with 200 ml of milk and drink.

100 grams of Enoki mushrooms, cooked and drained, 50 grams of dried shrimps, washed briefly with warm water, a total of 200 grams of lean meat. Chop the above three ingredients into a paste, add seasonings to make stuffing, wrap into dumplings (or wontons) and cook. It can be eaten in several times.

Garlic and kelp porridge: 50 grams of rice, 15 grams of chopped kelp, and two cloves of mashed garlic. Add appropriate amount of water to rice and kelp and cook them first. After the porridge becomes porridge, add mashed garlic and seasoning and cook for a while. It is ready and can be eaten in several times.

Jinmei Drink: 10 grams of Centella asiatica, 10 grams of black plum, 10 grams of licorice, decoct the main residue into a soup, about 300 ml, drink it in 3 times.

Licorice and mung bean soup: 10 grams of licorice and 50 grams of mung beans, boil until the mung beans are soft and tender. No sugar added, drink soup and eat mung beans.

Golden Earth Chicken Soup: 10 grams of Centella asiatica and 6 grams of Smilax glabra, boil with water until the juice becomes 300 ml, remove the residue, add 150 grams of chicken pieces (do not use the head and feet), boil the soup, add seasonings, and eat the soup and chicken pieces.

The above recipes can be taken alternately and need to be effective for a long time, usually 1 to 2 months or longer. Children with symptoms of lead poisoning may want to give this a try.

In addition, the following methods can be used to prevent lead:

●Children should develop the good habit of washing their hands frequently, especially before eating.

●Children’s nails should be trimmed frequently, as the crevices between nails are particularly prone to lead dust.

● Regularly clean children’s toys and other items that may be put into the mouth by children.

● In homes located near busy roads or industrial areas, dust should be wiped off child-reachable areas with a wet cloth as often as possible. Covers should be placed on food and bottle nipples.

●Do not take children for walks or plays on roads with heavy traffic or near lead-related factories.

●Workers directly engaged in lead handling must take a shower and change clothes as required before leaving get off work before they can go home. Workers whose workplaces may be contaminated by lead and those who work on the roadside all day should also change clothes and wash their hands before leaving get off work. Do not wash work clothes together with family or children's clothes.

●Households that use coal as fuel should open windows as often as possible for ventilation.

●Children should eat less foods with high lead content, such as ordinary preserved eggs, popcorn, etc.

●When using tap water every morning, you should open the faucet for about 1-5 minutes to drain out some of the water that has accumulated in the tap water pipe the night before and may be contaminated by lead (the lead content in early tap water pipe materials was higher). Do not use the first part of the tap water in the morning for cooking or making milk for children.

●Children should eat at regular times. The absorption rate of lead in the intestine increases exponentially when the stomach is empty.

● Ensure that children's diets contain adequate amounts of calcium, iron and zinc. Foods rich in calcium include: dairy products, soy products, animal bones, etc. Foods rich in iron include: animal liver, animal blood, meat, eggs, etc. Foods rich in zinc include: meat, seafood (especially shellfish), etc.

The reasons why babies do not sleep well at night are as follows:

1. Sometimes babies eat too much, causing abdominal discomfort; or they don’t eat enough and feel hungry, and they will cry and refuse to sleep. If this is the reason, you should continue to explore the rules to ensure that the baby eats the right amount and does not get too full or too hungry.

2. If the diaper is wet and not changed in time, or the clothes are too tight or the quilt is too thick, making the baby feel uncomfortable, he will also express his "protest" by crying and refusing to sleep. Therefore, you should try to let your baby wear loose and soft clothes to sleep, and the quilt should be of appropriate thickness. Diapers should be changed promptly if they are wet.

3. Check whether the baby has been bitten by mosquitoes or has eczema, as this will cause unbearable itching of the skin, especially at night when the baby is quiet. Babies cannot express themselves and can only attract their parents' attention by crying and refusing to sleep.

4. Check your baby’s trace elements. Calcium deficiency may also cause such symptoms.

5. Abdominal pain caused by a cold abdomen may also lead to poor sleep. Mothers should pay attention to keeping the baby's abdomen warm and give the baby more warm water.
