Is it good for children to speak early?

We all know that babies cannot speak when they are just born, but learn to speak slowly through contact with the world. The first word many children learn is "mom" because they generally spend the most time with their mothers when they are young. Mothers are the children's first mentors, and they will slowly teach children how to speak and live. So is it good for children to speak early?

First of all, the early or late speech is related to the development of the child's language center.

It's also related to genetics.

Generally speaking, children who speak early will be relatively extroverted, good at socializing, and suitable for politics and business in the future; those who speak late are suitable for sports or scientific research. Of course it is not absolute.

Speaking late does not mean being stupid, it is just the delay in the development of the language center, which has no necessary relationship with brain health. Einstein, this genius, did not learn to speak until he was 4 years old. Before that, everyone thought he was a mute. Moreover, in the few years after he learned to speak, his ability to express himself was greatly impaired, with half sentences and incorrect word order.

Some people believe that language development can predict a child’s future intelligence; those who start speaking early tend to have higher intelligence levels. But there are exceptions. Many children with normal or higher intelligence may have late language development. Therefore, we cannot judge intelligence simply based on when a person starts speaking. The famous scientist Einstein could not speak until he was 4 years old. His parents even thought he was mute. He could not speak fluently until he was 9 years old.

Under normal circumstances, the time at which each child starts speaking is very different. Some children start speaking single words at eight months old and can speak simple sentences before they are one year old. Some children have normal intellectual development, but they may not speak until they are three or four years old, or even later. Generally speaking, girls start talking earlier than boys.

If a baby speaks well early, it means his language function is well developed. However, if a baby of two months old calls "Mom" it does not necessarily mean that he can speak. He may just babbled occasionally.
