What to do if your child is allergic

What to do if your child is allergic

Children are often weak and sickly when they are young, mainly because of their incomplete development and low resistance. Some children often develop small bumps on their bodies, and after examination, it is found that they are allergic to certain things. Parents are eager to know what to do if their children have allergies? The best solution is to find out the child’s allergens, control the child’s environment, and let the child exercise to improve resistance.

1. What to do if your child has skin allergies

In the process of children's skin allergies, allergic mediators play a direct role. Allergens are a necessary condition for the occurrence of allergic symptoms, and the presence of a large number of free radicals is the root cause of children's skin allergies. Free radical oxidation destroys the cell membranes of mast cells and alkaliphils, causing them to be damaged and denatured, which reduces the body's immune capacity and creates conditions for the occurrence of abnormal immune reactions of antigens and antibodies, leading to cell rupture, the release of allergic mediators, and the occurrence of allergic symptoms. Most anti-allergic drugs work by competing with allergic mediators in the nasal mucosa, skin blood vessels, and bronchial smooth muscle cells, rendering them ineffective. Once the drug's effects wear off, allergies will recur. Moreover, many drugs can cause users to become drowsy. Although some aerosol-type hormone drugs take effect quickly, the symptoms and side effects are more severe when the disease relapses. The root cause of allergies is the patient's allergic constitution. To treat skin allergies, you must start by improving the allergic constitution.

1. Control the environment. The simplest way to treat baby skin allergies is to avoid contact with allergens and stay away from allergens. In this way, patients with allergic constitutions will not come into contact with allergens, thereby not stimulating the body to react strongly to allergens and inducing allergies.

2. Improve allergic constitution.

(1) People with allergic constitution have more immunoglobulin IgE (antibodies that mediate allergic reactions) in their bodies than normal people. Once the patient encounters an allergen, the body will react. The immunoglobulin reacts with the allergen, causing mast cells to release histamine into the corresponding tissues, thus triggering allergies.

(2) In normal humans, there is a certain ratio of helper T cells 1 to helper T cells 2, which play a role in regulating the balance of the human immune system in the human circulatory system.

(3) The gastrointestinal tract of a normal person has a variety of digestive enzymes that help completely digest and absorb protein foods that enter the gastrointestinal tract.

(4) Allergic constitution can be inherited. Strengthening the immune system and improving the above symptoms can improve the allergic experience and eliminate allergies.

(5) Young children are in the golden period of production and development, and their bodies are immature in all aspects. Therefore, when treating skin diseases in babies, you must be careful not to use hormones, antihistamines, etc., as this will have adverse effects on the child's body. For example, today's babies use milk powder containing hormones, which causes physical maldevelopment in babies. Some even use too much hormones, causing the child to stop growing.
