1. Imitate others’ actions

Children have a very strong ability to imitate. If adults like to solve problems by hands-on, children will also learn this way of solving problems imperceptibly. So we often see this situation, the child's parents or grandparents will gently pat the baby's hands or buttocks because the baby is disobedient. Children will also learn this method and beat their parents and elders in turn. Please note that this hands-on approach can be used but not as a common method. It should only be used in limited situations when the baby has major problems. Persuasion and education should still be the main approach. In particular, parents must unify their thinking with their children's grandparents. Grandparents should not expose their differences in education in front of their children because they spoil their children, and must maintain the prestige of their children's parents.

2. Children want more attention

Children want to always get their parents' attention, so they will test their parents in different ways. If parents do not pay enough attention to their children's positive behaviors such as singing and dancing, and do not give enough encouragement. They express happiness when their children hit or swear at others, and even praise them for being "fun". This will reinforce the child's negative behavior of hitting others, and the child will get more attention from his parents by hitting others. Once a habit is formed, it will be difficult for children to correct it in the future. Most young parents today are relatively well-educated and generally do not encourage such negative behaviors in their children. However, it should be noted that some elderly elders in the family have relatively old-fashioned ideas and still use the old methods to amuse children. They laugh at children's behavior of hitting or swearing, which is a negative reinforcement for children. This requires young parents to take time to accompany their children no matter how busy they are at work. Parents should be the dominant force in their children's education. Instead of leaving the child to the grandparents, this is irresponsible to the child. It is easy to develop some bad habits in children.

3. The child has not learned the correct way to communicate

As your child gets older, he or she should have more contact with other babies. Conflicts may arise between babies due to fighting over toys or food. When a child's needs are hindered, we will find ways to remove the obstacles. At this time, some babies like to cry, and some babies like to hit other children to solve problems. Some parents see their children hitting other children, or they don't take it seriously and just defend their own babies without principles. Or they overreact and fight violence with violence by beating or scolding their children. These methods are not correct enough. The correct way for parents is to teach them reasonable solutions. For example, if a child wants to play with a certain toy but the other party refuses to give it to him, if the baby cannot speak yet, you can teach the children to exchange toys. If your baby can speak, you can teach him to say "Can I exchange my toys with yours?" to teach your child the awareness of exchanging and sharing.
