Why don't babies choke on water when swimming?

Babies do not choke on water when swimming because there is a special valve in the throat. This valve can close the airway and will not cause precipitation.

For babies under six months old, there is a special valve in the throat. When they enter the water, the valve will automatically close and close the airway. They will not choke on water and can stay suspended in the water for a while, but not for too long, as this may cause the risk of suffocation.
