Characteristics of boy's development

Characteristics of boy's development

When a child reaches the age of three or four, all aspects of his or her body will begin to develop. As they grow taller and heavier, their appetite also starts to increase. The nutrition they need is more comprehensive and reasonable. They usually have their own ideas and tend to be more naughty. As a guardian, you should pay attention to your child's development in a timely manner, avoid some bad living and eating habits, and prevent the troubles and occurrence of some diseases. Let me give you a detailed introduction below.

1. What are the characteristics of boys' development?

Children are generally fat before the age of two, and gradually become thinner after the age of 3 to 4. In pediatric clinics, we often see parents bringing their children aged 3 to 4 or 5 to 6 years old, complaining about being "thin" and asking doctors for a comprehensive examination. There are many reasons why children do not gain weight. In addition to factors related to physique, nutrition, diet, sleep, illness, amount of exercise, genetics and so on, children of this age are generally thinner than when they were younger.

Because the physical development of children of this age is much slower than that of infancy, children aged 3 to 6 years old grow in height on average each year, while their weight only increases by 1.5 to 2 kilograms each year. In addition, children of this age have increasingly developed brain functions and are more active. Apart from eating and sleeping, they have little idle time, so their body consumes more calories, so their bodies begin to become thinner and their subcutaneous fat decreases.

2. What are the characteristics of boys' development?

To know whether a child's growth and development is normal, you can judge from several aspects such as the child's height, weight, chest circumference, head circumference, etc. Weight reflects the child's nutritional status. If a child's weight is within 10% more or less than the standard, it is considered normal. If the child's weight is more than 15% below the standard weight, it should generally be considered as low weight, which may be caused by malnutrition or some chronic wasting diseases.

Each child's situation is different and their growth is different. Both boys and girls are different, so parents don't need to worry too much. There are standards for children's growth. As long as it is within normal values, there is no need to worry too much. If there are abnormalities, we must pay attention to the causes to ensure the health of the children, and parents do not have to worry.
