Why does my child cry when he sleeps?

Many children will have trouble sleeping, and even feel distressed. These situations will affect the baby's sleep quality, which will seriously affect the baby's physical health and development. Therefore, this problem is also a headache for parents. There are reasons for the baby's distress. Only by finding the reasons can it be effectively alleviated. So why do children always cry when they sleep?

First, why does the child always cry when sleeping? Improper diet: eating too much before going to bed, frequent feeding at night, inability to adapt to the newly added complementary food, indigestion, etc. Physiological reasons: teething period, weaning period, and after vaccination. The baby is overly tired: playing for too long before bedtime and being overly excited; or being frightened during the day, feeling fearful, anxious, etc., which makes it difficult to suppress the spirit, leading to difficulty falling asleep, commonly known as waking up in a trance, or entering light sleep and waking up again soon, making it difficult to enter deep sleep.

Second, sleep problems: long-term lack of sleep, unreasonable or irregular arrangement of sleep, eating and defecation time leading to sleep disorders; arbitrarily changing sleep time, and parents' lack of awareness of cultivating and establishing their children's sleep biological clock. Sleeping environment: such as polluted air, room temperature too high or too low, too dry; bedding is too thick, wearing cotton clothes to sleep, etc. Illness: constipation, diarrhea, eczema, infectious diseases such as otitis media, sinusitis, early rickets, pinworm infection; child discomfort such as fever, nasal congestion, abdominal distension, pain, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, itching and other symptoms. Changes in daily life: such as moving to an unfamiliar new house due to going out, having a new nanny or relative to take care of the baby, and worrying about being separated from parents due to business trips.

Why do children always cry when they sleep? It can be divided into two categories: 1. External factors 1. Hunger is more common in newborns and babies within three months. This requires breastfeeding or milk feeding to solve the problem. If older babies eat a full meal before going to bed, this factor can be eliminated. In dry weather, your baby may be thirsty at night, and giving him some water can help calm him down. 2. Calcium deficiency Calcium deficiency is one of the main factors that cause babies to sleep restlessly, and most girls will take it into consideration. Calcium deficiency and low blood calcium levels increase the excitability of the brain's autonomic nerves, causing the baby to wake up at night, have night terrors, become restless and have trouble sleeping. The solution is to supplement your baby with calcium and vitamin D and get more sun exposure.
