The baby's bones always make noises

Since babies' bodies are not fully developed yet, mothers will be very careful when taking care of them. In the process of taking care of babies, babies will show many phenomena that make mothers feel very nervous. A common phenomenon is that sometimes the baby's bones will make a crackling sound. Although this phenomenon feels scary, it is a relatively normal phenomenon.

Why do baby's bones make noises?

Because the bones of infants are not fully developed, the ligaments are weak, the joint sockets are shallow, the spaces between the joints are relatively large, the ligaments around the joints are loose and the bones are soft. Once the feet and hands are not supported, the bones will make a "pop" sound due to pulling. Therefore, in most cases, the cracking of the baby's bones is just a normal phenomenon.

However, if your baby's bones keep making noises, it means that your baby needs calcium supplements. In addition, exercising more and getting more sun can also help improve the baby's bone development. Therefore, if the baby's bones make noises, you should neither worry too much nor completely regard it as a normal physiological phenomenon and ignore the development of the baby's bones.

Will bone cracking affect bone development?

For most babies, bone cracking is just a normal physiological phenomenon; in a small number of cases, it is caused by problems in the baby's bone development. Therefore, if there are noises in the following bones, it is best to go to the hospital for examination to avoid affecting the baby's bone development.

1. If the baby's knee bones make a sound and are accompanied by intermittent knee pain. This may be caused by the baby's congenital discoid meniscus phenomenon;

2. If the baby's hip bones make a sound, it is most likely caused by congenital hip dislocation;

3. If the baby's shoulder blades make the noise, it is likely a "snapping shoulder" condition caused by abnormal bone development, and you need to take your baby to the hospital for examination.
