Uneven shoulders is a problem that troubles many people. It is also a common problem in life. Uneven shoulders greatly affects the appearance and may also affect people's walking posture. Clinically, uneven shoulders are also called spinal curvature deformity. For the problem of uneven shoulders, we must pay attention to adjustment and correction. If a child has uneven shoulders, they must be corrected from an early age. So how should we correct the problem of uneven shoulders in children?

1. Shoulder lift

Uneven shoulders are actually caused by spinal curvature deformity, scoliosis and rotation. Spinal deformity is caused by muscle diseases that lead to imbalance in muscle strength, especially scoliosis caused by asymmetry of the paraspinal muscles. The practitioner coordinates the breathing to lift the shoulder blades and relax the movements. First, lift both shoulders upward, inhale, and continue for one minute. Then relax and exhale. Do this twenty times, once a day.

2. Shrug

Slowly shrug your shoulders forward and upward, inhale, then relax downward and backward, exhale, do ten times; then shrug your shoulders backward and upward, inhale, then relax downward and forward, exhale, do ten times, once a day or when you need to relax your shoulders.

3. Practice

Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your upper body upright. Hold dumbbells in both hands at your sides. Then inhale while raising both arms to the side, then exhale and lower them back to the original position. Repeat 10 to 12 times and practice 4 sets. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, upper body upright, holding a dumbbell or weight on the side below your shoulder and doing one-arm shrugs, with the other hand on your waist. Repeat 10 to 15 times and practice 4 sets.

4. Note

When uneven shoulders occur, there is muscle tension on the higher side, scoliosis, leg length discrepancy, and a tilted pelvis. Therefore, either reason will cause other problems. Uneven shoulders can cause great harm to people. Uneven shoulders are not just a simple imbalance of the body. The most important thing is that they cause deformation of the spine, which is like a twisted towel. The deviation of the spine compresses the nerves around the spine, causing problems such as arm numbness, neck pain, dizziness, poor sleep quality, blood pressure, and heart system.
