It is a common phenomenon for babies to suffer from constipation. This is because the baby's digestive function is not yet fully developed and the gastrointestinal tract is relatively weak. Improper diet will cause constipation in babies. Although baby constipation is not a serious disease, it is very painful for babies. In daily life, you can do some conditioning for your baby to prevent baby constipation. The following are some tips for treating baby constipation:

1. Eat more apples, fungus, mushrooms, oatmeal, and kelp

Vegetables and fruits are rich in fiber, which can stimulate intestinal peristalsis and promote bowel movements. Foods such as carrots, apples, fungus, mushrooms, oatmeal, seaweed, kelp, dried fruits, etc. are also rich in fiber and minerals and can be chosen for your baby.

2. Soup and water to clear the intestines

Babies should be given more water, and often given orange juice, pineapple juice, cabbage juice, radish juice, etc. They should also eat some coarse grains and whole grains according to their different ages. You can also give your baby mung bean and coix seed soup: mung bean and coix seed are rich in fiber, which can not only improve the symptoms of constipation, but also have the effect of clearing away heat and reducing inflammatory reactions.

3. Climb and roll

This helps improve symptoms of constipation. You can let your baby crawl and roll, which are good intestinal activities. Mommy can help the baby to move.

4. Massage your baby before bed

The specific method is: let the baby lie on his back on the bed, and the mother gently rubs the baby's abdomen with her palm, rubbing from left to right with the navel as the center, rub 10 times, rest for 5 minutes, and then massage 10 times, and repeat 3 times;

Notice! Don't use too heavy a technique, just do it 2-3 times a day.

5. Massage acupoints 1 hour after meal

Generally, pressing lightly several times one hour after a meal can also help promote intestinal peristalsis.

Zusanli acupoint: Let the baby sit well. The Zusanli acupoint is located 3 inches (about three or four horizontal fingers) below the depression on the outside and lower side of the knee. Press the acupoint continuously for 1-2 minutes.

Zhigou Point: Located 3 inches above the transverse line on the back of the wrist, between the ulna and radius bones. Press the point continuously for 1-2 minutes.

6. Do some relaxation exercises every day

Let the baby lie on his back, hold his legs and do flexion and extension exercises, that is, stretch and bend for 10 times, and then flex and extend one leg 10 times;

7. Rub the baby's anus

Gently massaging the baby's anus can induce the baby's physiological reflex and promote defecation.

If your baby is often constipated, or has severe abdominal pain, vomiting, poor spirits, etc., it is very likely that the baby has other diseases and must be taken to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.
