What are the medications for children's rhinitis?

When children have rhinitis, parents must first know how to distinguish them, because many parents confuse rhinitis with colds. Therefore, only when rhinitis is discovered can it be treated in time. Children's rhinitis can generally be treated with Xanthium sibiricum, because Xanthium sibiricum is also a kind of traditional Chinese medicine and will not cause too many side effects to children during the treatment process.

1. Xanthium sibiricum Treatment

We need to prepare 40 Xanthium sibiricums and crush them first. Put the pounded Xanthium sibiricum in a small pot, add a little sesame oil, and fry slowly over low heat.

Mothers need to wait patiently until the Xanthium sibiricum is fried, then collect the remaining oil in a bottle and use it when needed.

When using, mothers can use a clean cotton swab, dip a small amount of medicated oil, and apply it to the baby's nose. Finally, use it for two consecutive weeks, applying two to three times a day. This method is slow to take effect and requires mothers to persist in applying it to their babies.

2. Get rid of bad eating habits

Patients should avoid or reduce the intake of frozen drinks, ice cream, etc.; eat less cold foods such as cabbage, mustard greens, watermelon, and cantaloupe. Prevention of this type of allergic rhinitis is relatively common.

3. Beehive

In addition to the same ingredients and functions as ordinary honey, it also contains beeswax and a small amount of propolis, which has a good effect on acute and chronic pharyngitis and rhinitis.
