The baby does not sleep at night, it may be because of these

Many parents have reported that their babies are very energetic at night, which is a torture for parents who are busy at work all day. Why don’t babies sleep at night? There are many reasons for this situation, such as the baby sleeps too much during the day, or the baby is uncomfortable, which may cause the baby to not sleep at night.

1. Babies have no concept of day and night

Since newborns do not have the concept of day and night, they need to sleep and feed 24 hours a day to facilitate their normal development and growth. In general, a newborn baby sleeps about 20 hours a day; he will usually sleep for 2 to 4 hours at a time and then wake up hungry. At first, he will feed at all times of the day and night, but he will gradually sleep a little longer at night than during the day.

2. The baby is hungry

There are actually many reasons why babies cry. In addition to crying when they are sick, they may also cry because they are hungry. Babies fall asleep because they are not full, which is a common reason for babies in the first few months. If you find your baby tossing and turning in bed and constantly sucking, sometimes the baby just needs to suck, and sometimes the baby is really hungry and can't sleep. For babies who are bottle-fed, parents can use a pacifier to test whether the baby still wants milk. When the baby needs milk, he will spit out the pacifier given to him by the parents. It is more convenient to feed babies with breast milk. The mother can directly feed the baby, and the baby will fall asleep obediently after eating.

3. I feel sick in my stomach

If the baby's diet is not arranged properly, the baby may eat too much, the food is too cold, or the food is not properly configured, which may cause indigestion and abdominal discomfort in the baby. The baby may not be able to sleep due to bloating, constipation, or simple abdominal cramps.
