Symptoms of warm evil invading the lungs include high fever, coma, dry nose without mucus, frequent cough with little sputum, thin yellow tongue coating, and strong and rapid pulse. The treatment is suitable for clearing away heat and detoxifying, promoting lung function and relieving cough. Yinqiao Powder is modified with the following ingredients: 12 grams of honeysuckle, 18 grams of dandelion, 12 grams of isatis indigotica, 9 grams of reed root, 9 grams of bamboo leaf, 9 grams of burdock seed, 6 grams of almond, 9 grams of houttuynia cordata, 3 grams of licorice, and 0.5 grams of antelope powder (taken with water). If the cough is severe, add 6 grams of Platycodon grandiflorum and 9 grams of roasted loquat leaves; if the thirst is severe, add 9 grams of pollen and 9 grams of Yuanshen. 3. The symptoms of dryness damaging the lungs include dry lips, tongue, and nose, dry cough with little sputum, sticky sputum that is difficult to cough up, dry and sore throat, thirst, red tongue, and rapid pulse. The treatment should be to nourish yin and clear dryness, moisten the lungs and relieve cough. Sangxing Decoction with modifications: 6 grams of Adenophora Root, 6 grams of Apricot Kernel, 6 grams of Fritillaria cirrhosa, 6 grams of Platycodon grandiflorum, 9 grams of Dendrobium Officinale, 3 grams of Licorice, 9 grams of Sterculia lychnophora, 6 grams of Pollen, and pear peel as the lead. If the dryness is severe, add 9 grams of green fruit and 9 grams of Ophiopogon japonicus. |
