What is wrong with children's stomach acid? There are many reasons

Children have weak constitutions and often show symptoms of certain diseases. Many children often feel stomach acid. Parents are particularly worried about this situation, but they don’t know how to treat it. In fact, as long as the cause of the disease is understood, the treatment is relatively simple. So let me introduce to you what is going on with children’s stomach acid?

1. Make sure the baby is upright when feeding

When feeding your baby, keep him in an upright position as much as possible and maintain this position for up to 30 minutes. Don't feed your little one too much, as a full stomach can easily cause acid reflux.

2. Change diapers before feeding

Try changing your baby's diaper before or during feedings to avoid fiddling with your baby after he's finished.

3. Give your baby a pacifier

Give your baby a pacifier to suck on during playtime. Sucking on a pacifier can increase swallowing and reduce the chance of vomiting.

4. Sleep in a semi-upright position

Have your baby sleep in a rocking chair, or place a support on the bed so that your baby is at a 45-degree angle to the bed. Be careful not to just lift the baby's head and ignore the position of the upper body. Additionally, babies may slide off the blanket, posing a suffocation hazard.

5. Ask your doctor about probiotics

Let your baby try suitable probiotics to help restore the balance of intestinal flora. Talk to your doctor; you will benefit greatly from having a conversation with them.

6. Check your baby’s head

Have your baby's head examined by your doctor to check for flat areas on one side or at the back of the head; these areas often indicate digestive problems.

7. Improve your diet

If you're breastfeeding, take note of what you're eating. Try to avoid foods that may cause adverse reactions, such as chocolate, ice cream, wheat, food additives, etc.
