Causes of premature heartbeats in infants

Causes of premature heartbeats in infants

When a baby is born, it is the treasure of the family, so the family will pay special attention to the child's health and will find out any abnormal phenomenon of the child. Many children have very fast heart beats after they are born. This phenomenon is called premature heart beats in medicine. Many people don't know what causes this kind of premature heart beats. There are many factors that cause premature heart beats in children. So what are the causes of premature heart beats in babies?

First:

The normal heart rate of an adult is 60 to 100 beats per minute, while the heart rate of infants and young children is generally faster, reaching 180 beats per minute. It is not uncommon for infants and young children to have premature heart beats. Not all premature heart beats in infants and young children mean that there is something wrong with their bodies. Many premature heart beats in infants and young children are physiological, but they occur occasionally and the symptoms are not obvious!

Second:

There are generally two causes of premature beats in infants and young children. One is functional arrhythmia induced by other factors, and the other is heart damage or organic disease caused by surgery. One of the reasons for premature beats in infants and young children is premature beats induced by other factors, such as influenza, diarrhea, etc., which lead to shortness of breath and induce premature beats!

Third:

Infants and young children who cry constantly, lack of sleep, and excessive fatigue can also cause premature beats. Parents do not need to worry too much about premature beats caused by other factors. As long as the causes are eliminated, the baby can generally return to normal.

Fourth:

Some children suffer from premature beats due to heart injury during cardiac catheterization or other operations, while others suffer from premature beats due to complications of organic heart diseases such as myocarditis, rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease, etc. Parents of such children should be vigilant and actively treat the primary disease, otherwise the condition will worsen.

But please note that when a child's heart shows premature beats, he must go to the hospital for a formal examination to see if the child has heart disease. In fact, many times a child's premature beats are not always caused by heart disease. If it is really a heart disease, symptomatic treatment will be given based on the results of the examination. When treating this type of premature beats, you must carefully protect the child's heart.
