What kind of fruit is better for children with anemia?

Rule 3: Add complementary food in a timely and reasonable manner

1. When the baby is 6 months old, breast milk and cow's milk can no longer fully meet the needs of physical growth and development, and complementary foods must be added to the baby.

2. Starting from the baby's 6-month-old, add boiled egg yolks, starting with 1/4 per day, gradually increasing to 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, until one boiled egg per day.

3. Start adding lean meat, liver paste, fish paste, and animal blood when the baby is 8 months old, also increasing gradually from small amounts to large amounts.

4. Vegetables are essential foods for babies after 6 months old. Blanching leafy vegetables in boiling water can remove most of the oxalic acid, which is beneficial for iron absorption.

Rule 4: Vitamin C is a good partner for iron

While supplementing with foods high in iron, giving your baby more fruits rich in vitamin C is especially beneficial for improving the absorption rate of iron, which can be increased several times.

Kiwi, fresh dates, citrus fruits, etc. are all fruits rich in vitamin C.

Rule 5: Cooking methods are important

Studies have found that the iron in fermented foods is easier to absorb. Therefore, steamed buns, steamed cakes, and bread are more suitable for babies than noodles, pancakes, and rice.

When eating leafy vegetables, blanch them in boiling water first to remove most of the oxalic acid, allowing your baby to absorb more iron.
