What should I do if my two-month-old baby has nasal mucus?

What should I do if my two-month-old baby has nasal mucus?

A two-month-old baby is so fragile. If we are not careful, we may hurt the baby, so parents are very careful in everything they do. However, a two-month-old baby will also have nasal mucus, and dealing with the baby's nasal mucus is also the most headache for parents. They dare not use force for fear of hurting the baby. So, what should we do if a two-month-old baby has nasal mucus?

1. You can take a cup of hot water with steam coming out. Let the child put his nostrils on it and let hot air come into his nostrils. In this way, the child will absorb the moisture and the booger will become softer. In this way, it can also be taken out.

2. Tear off some clean paper, dip it in some water, gently poke the paper into the child's nostrils, then rub the child's nose, rotate the paper in the nostrils, and then pull it out, the child's nasal mucus will come out.

3. Of course, you can also use a cotton towel or the corner of a handkerchief, dip it in water, and then poke it in to pick out the child's nasal mucus. The method is the same as step 2.

4. If the child's nasal mucus is too hard, the above method will not work. It is best to dip paper in water and then wipe the dried booger. Remember, do not rub hard, otherwise it will hurt the child's skin. When the dried nasal mucus becomes a little soft, use methods 2 and 3 above to wipe it.

5. When your child has nasal mucus, let him drink more water, because hard nasal mucus may be caused by lack of water. If your child drinks more water, the nostrils will be moistened, which will soften the nasal mucus and make it easier to get out.

It is very normal for babies to have nasal mucus in their noses, and we should deal with it in time. Don't wait until the mucus becomes hard and becomes more numerous before dealing with it. At that time, it will be very troublesome. What should we do if a two-month-old baby has nasal mucus in his nose? The methods have been introduced above, and of course you can also ask a doctor for help.
