The amount of liquid pricked on the skin is only one ten-thousandth of that in the intradermal test and is much safer. Since the skin lesions are small, the patients do not feel any pain. Our department uses the internationally standardized antigen - German Arog pricking solution. (1) Inhaled allergens include mites, mold, mugwort, elm, willow, poplar, animal fur, pollen, etc. (2) Food allergens include fish, shrimp, crab, pork, beef, mutton, milk, eggs, beans, peanuts, condiments, etc. Results are available in 15 minutes.
