Children's Lung Nourishing Cough Soup

If children have any coughing condition, parents will feel very worried. In this case, they should find a way to stop the cough so that the symptoms of their cough will not be so serious. Therefore, they can try to use dietary treatment methods to relieve the symptoms. There are some very good lung-moisturizing and cough-relieving soups, such as Sichuan Fritillary Bulbs and Snow Pear.

1. Apple and Fritillaria Chicken Soup

Ingredients: half a three-yellow chicken, 2 apples, 15 grams of longan pulp, 15 grams of Sichuan Fritillaria, a few slices of ginger

practice:

1. Wash the three-yellow chicken and cut it into small pieces.

2. Blanch the chicken pieces in boiling water, rinse with clean water and drain.

3. Add 6 bowls of water into the soup pot and put the blanched chicken pieces into the pot.

4. Wash the apples, cut into pieces and remove the core.

5. Put the cleaned longan meat, Fritillaria cirrhosa, apple and ginger slices into the soup pot.

6. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for 2 hours.

2. Raw Rehmannia glutinosa, tofu and dragon bone soup

Ingredients: 200g dragon bone, 250g tofu, 50g raw land, 50g Ophiopogon japonicus.

1.Blanche the dragon bones and set aside;

2. Wash the tofu and cut into large pieces;

3. Put all the ingredients in a casserole and add enough water at once;

4. After boiling over medium heat, simmer over low heat for one and a half hours, then add salt.

3. Loquat and Tremella Soup

Ingredients: three loquats, one white fungus, and appropriate amount of rock sugar.

practice:

1. Peel and deseed fresh loquats, remove the white membrane, and cut into small pieces. Soak the white fungus in water, remove the stems, wash, and break into small pieces.

2. Put water in the pot, add Tremella fuciformis and bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 30 minutes until soft.

3. Add loquat cubes and rock sugar and continue to simmer for about 20 minutes.

Tofu

Tofu has the effect of clearing heat and moistening dryness. "Yi Lin Zong Yao" says: "Tofu clears away heat, relieves cough, and eliminates phlegm." It is especially suitable for those whose cough is caused by wind-heat or lung heat. You can also choose a piece of tofu skin, an appropriate amount of rock sugar, add water and cook it before eating. It also has a therapeutic effect on lung heat and cough.

persimmon

Persimmon is cold in nature and can clear away heat, eliminate phlegm and relieve cough, so it is suitable for people with hot cough. According to modern pharmacological experiments, persimmons do have expectorant and antitussive effects, and the expectorant effect is stronger than the antitussive effect.

Loquat

Loquat is cool in nature, sweet in taste, and can moisten the lungs, reduce phlegm and relieve cough. "Southern Yunnan Materia Medica" says: "Loquat can cure cough and spitting." It is suitable for people with hot cough and spitting yellow purulent sputum.

Water Chestnut

It can resolve phlegm and clear away heat, and is especially suitable for those with hot cough and spitting of purulent sputum. Each time, you can use 250 grams of fresh water chestnuts, wash and peel them, blanch them in boiling water, and eat them raw, once in the morning and once in the evening, for 3 to 5 days.

Loofah

It is good at clearing away heat and resolving phlegm, and is especially suitable for those with hot coughs with a lot of phlegm and thick yellow phlegm. This is because the loofah contains a saponin in its plant mucus, which has the effect of removing phlegm and reducing phlegm. People who have coughs due to lung heat or wind-heat invading the lungs, and often spit out pus and phlegm, should drink a decoction of loofah, or even cook the loofah with tofu, which has the benefits of clearing phlegm, opening the chest and diaphragm.
