What to do if your baby has shazi

What should I do if my baby gets shazi? I think this is something that many mothers are very worried about. It is a very common phenomenon for children to get shazi, which is what we call measles. When a child gets this disease, many uncomfortable symptoms will appear in the body, such as fever, papules on the skin, etc. Let us take a detailed look at what to do if my baby gets shazi? I hope everyone has some understanding.

Shazi is another name for measles, as shown in "New Book of Measles", also known as sha rashes. It is a common infectious disease in children and an acute rash infectious disease caused by measles. The clinical symptoms are fever, chills, cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, runny nose, tears, photophobia, measles mucosal patches can be seen on the cheeks near the molars, sesame-sized red maculopapules appear in sequence on the skin all over the body, and bran-like desquamation and pigmentation spots appear on the skin when the rash subsides. The virus mainly attacks the lungs and stomach.

Measles virus is a paramyxovirus with weak in vitro resistance and is very sensitive to heat, ultraviolet rays and disinfectants. It remains infectious in air droplets for no more than 2 hours, but is resistant to cold and dryness and can remain infectious for about 1 month at zero degrees Celsius.

Patients are the only source of measles infection and the disease is highly contagious. The patient is contagious from the end of the incubation period to 5 days after the rash appears. During the infectious period, the patient's oral, nasal, pharyngeal and conjunctival secretions contain measles virus. It is mainly transmitted by droplets through the respiratory tract.

A rash appears about 3 days after the onset of fever. When the rash appears, the symptoms of systemic poisoning worsen and the body temperature rises to around 400°C. The patient may become listless, drowsy, or irritable and may suffer from delirium. Infants and young children often have convulsions. Increased cough, photophobia, and facial edema. When the rash appears, it usually starts from the hairline behind the ears, gradually spreading to the forehead, face, neck, trunk and limbs, and reaches the palms and soles of the feet on the third day. The rash is light red maculopapular, congested, and fades when pressed; the skin between the rashes is normal; in severe cases, the rash may merge into patches and appear dark red. When the evil toxins invade the body, the rash may suddenly disappear, or the rash may become less severe and lighter in color, or it may be accompanied by other dangerous symptoms such as convulsions, hoarseness, shortness of breath, cyanosis, coma, cold limbs and weak pulse.

The general population is susceptible to measles and will have lasting immunity after the illness. The highest incidence rate is among children aged 1 to 5 years. Infants can obtain antibodies from their mothers from the placenta and will not become ill within 6 months after birth. However, infants born to susceptible mothers have no innate immunity and can become ill after birth. The disease can occur throughout the year, with winter and spring being the peak seasons.

What should we do if our baby gets shazi as mentioned above? I have given some explanation on this issue, and I think you all understand it now. For children, special attention should be paid to their physical changes in life. If any abnormality is found in the child, they should go to the hospital for a detailed examination in time so as not to delay the treatment of the disease.
