What causes a boy’s intestinal gas?

The baby has intestinal hernia, which is commonly known as hernia. It is a protruding mass in the body. The cause of this mass is that the organs in the body protrude in some weak positions, forming a mass. It is mainly caused by coughing and other conditions. So, specifically, what are the pathological causes of hernia? What is going on?

Classification: hydrocele and intestinal hernia

Small intestinal hernia: divided into direct hernia, indirect hernia, femoral hernia, umbilical hernia, white line hernia, incarcerated hernia, strangulated hernia, incisional hernia, etc.

General symptoms: Protrudes when standing, disappears when lying on back, and returns to the abdominal cavity with pressure. However, incarcerated hernias and strangulated hernias are painful and difficult to push back into the abdominal cavity. If small intestinal hernia is allowed to develop, it is very likely to cause adhesion and incarceration, so it should be treated early.

Hydrocele: It is divided into testicular hydrocele and spermatic cord hydrocele. It is divided into two types: traffic-related and non-traffic-related.

Symptoms: Gradually increases in size, does not disappear when pressed, and is painless.

Hernia is when part of the human body tissue or organ leaves its original location and enters another part through a gap, defect or weak part of the human body. Commonly known as "small intestinal gas", it includes umbilical hernia, direct inguinal hernia, indirect hernia, incisional hernia, surgical recurrent hernia, white line hernia, femoral hernia, etc. Hernia is mostly caused by coughing, sneezing, excessive force, abdominal fat, forceful defecation, pregnancy in women, excessive crying in children, etc.

Because boys' testicles descend to the scrotum through the inguinal canal before birth, the peritoneum moves downward to form the processus vaginalis. If the processus vaginalis has not closed after the baby is born, or has closed incompletely, it will become a larger cavity, and the contents of the abdominal cavity will protrude to the body surface from here.

In the early stages of pediatric hernia, the swelling may disappear when the child lies flat and quiet. As the intra-abdominal pressure continues to increase, the swelling may drop into the scrotum. At this time, if the factors causing increased intra-abdominal pressure can be eliminated, and the child can be made to lie flat, or the swelling can be gently pushed toward the abdominal cavity, the swelling can return to the abdominal cavity through the channel through which the testicle descends, and the swelling disappears. This situation is called reducible hernia. If the tumor cannot be returned to the abdominal cavity, the abdominal pain will worsen and the baby will cry continuously.

Therefore, when parents find that their child has a hernia, they should immediately take the child to a regular hospital for treatment. Children under 6 months old do not need to be treated for the time being, but need to be closely observed. If the hernia of children over 6 months old gradually increases, or there is a history of incarceration, time should be taken to carry out thorough treatment as soon as possible.

I believe that after the above analysis by the editor, everyone should have a certain understanding of the situation of baby's hernia. It is recommended that you take your baby for treatment more often. If the baby is affected and squeezed by hernia for a long time, it will easily lead to abnormal development of the baby's genitals, especially the testicles, and cause physical maldevelopment.
