Many pregnant mothers find that the gallbladder of the fetus is abnormal and much larger than a normal gallbladder during three-dimensional color ultrasound examinations. This situation generally occurs around 25 to 28 weeks of pregnancy. Through MRI examinations, we know that this symptom is called fetal bile duct cyst. So how does this disease form? How should treatment be carried out? Intrauterine growth retardation (LUGR) is a syndrome of adverse or fetal malnutrition, often caused by malnutrition, maternal viral or toxoplasmic infection, poisoning, radiation, pregnancy-induced hypertension, kidney disease, liver disease, twins, and congenital or chromosomal lesions. Intrauterine growth retardation of the fetus can lead to increased perinatal morbidity and mortality, and make the fetus prone to long-term sequelae after birth, such as growth retardation, mental retardation, etc. Therefore, reducing its incidence and timely treatment are of great significance to improving the quality of the population. Common high-risk factors for intrauterine growth retardation include: ① maternal age > 30 years old, or < 17 years old; ② pre-pregnancy weight < 45 kg; ③ history of induced abortion or spontaneous abortion within six months before this pregnancy; ④ history of vaginal bleeding before 20 weeks of pregnancy; ⑤ combined with chronic hypertension, systemic lupus erythematosus, chronic liver and kidney disease, heart disease and tuberculosis, etc.; ⑥ history of adverse delivery, etc. If two consecutive prenatal examinations show that the uterine height has not increased or is lower than the 10th percentile of the normal value for the corresponding gestational age, and if the weight and abdominal circumference have not increased or have decreased, you should be highly vigilant. More attention should be paid to pregnant women who have high-risk factors, live in plateau areas, have been exposed to radiation, taken teratogenic drugs, or have smoking habits. Surgery is currently the only treatment method. Conservative treatment cannot shrink or eliminate the cyst. If the cyst is not very large and there are no subjective symptoms, surgery is unnecessary. There is no need to worry about whether the cyst will affect your health. |
