Why do young children have trouble sleeping?

The sleep problem of young children has always been a concern for parents, because if young children do not get enough sleep, it will affect the entire development process and will be detrimental to the future of the children. However, faced with the problem of young children not sleeping well, parents are helpless and do not know the reasons. In fact, this phenomenon is a problem with the child's body. Let's take a look at the reasons why young children do not sleep well.

Some abnormal phenomena that occur during the baby's sleep are often reporting to the parents that the baby is about to suffer from or has already suffered from certain diseases. Therefore, parents should learn to observe the baby's health condition while he is sleeping.

Normal babies are relatively quiet and comfortable when they sleep, their breathing is even and without any sound, and sometimes some interesting expressions appear on their little faces. Some babies sweat profusely when they just fall asleep or are about to wake up. It can be said that it is normal for most babies to sweat at night. However, if you are sweating profusely and have other discomfort symptoms, you should pay attention to observation, strengthen care, and go to the hospital for examination and treatment if necessary. For example, if a baby sweats profusely after falling asleep, has restless sleep, and has a square head, late teething, and late closure of the fontanelle, this means he is suffering from rickets.

If you feel irritable before going to bed at night, and your whole body becomes dry after falling asleep, your cheeks become red, your breathing becomes rapid, and your pulse rate increases (the normal pulse rate for a baby is 110 beats/minute), it indicates that you are about to have a fever. If a child cries during sleep, often shakes his head, scratches his ears, and sometimes has a fever, he may be suffering from otitis externa, eczema, or otitis media.

As for the phenomenon that young children have restless sleep, what parents need to do is to find out the cause of their children's insomnia and actively create a sleep-friendly environment for them, so that they can fall asleep as soon as possible in the new environment. At the same time, they can prepare some milk and other sleep-promoting foods for their children, so that they can fall asleep as soon as possible after eating.
