How to deal with peritoneal effusion in children

The health of children is the biggest wish of parents. Everyone hopes that their children can grow up safely and without the invasion of diseases is the best thing. However, the reality is not like this. There are many diseases in children, which is also a matter of great concern to parents. The harm of ascites in children is no less than some malignant diseases. So, what should we do about ascites in children? Let’s take a look at the introduction below.

There is no need to worry too much about a small amount of abdominal effusion; pay attention to whether the child has swollen abdominal lymph nodes, which is the possibility of mesenteric lymphadenitis, and often has abdominal cramping pain; if the child burps and farts, you should insist on regulating digestion.

Children with indigestion can be treated with Chinese medicine. You can go to the hospital for specific treatment and prescribe medicine based on syndrome differentiation. You can also use Chinese patent medicines such as Taizijin Granules or Baobaole Granules, and supplement zinc in time. Don't worry about a small amount of effusion. For mesenteric lymphadenitis, pay attention to abdominal color Doppler ultrasound examination to find out whether there is enlarged abdominal lymph nodes. If so, it can be confirmed. Except for inflammatory masses, generally speaking, any suspected tumor mass should undergo fine needle aspiration and cytological examination if possible. Once a tumor is confirmed, surgical treatment should be performed promptly as long as there are indications for surgical treatment. For solid intra-abdominal masses caused by various diseases, surgical treatment or surgical exploration should be performed as long as the diagnosis is basically clear, there are surgical indications or the mass has caused intestinal obstruction.

Any illness of a child is unbearable for adults, especially now when pediatric diseases are prevalent, parents are very worried, fearing that their children's illness will affect their growth and development. When faced with a disease like ascites in children, we as parents must first remain calm, and secondly, send the child to the hospital for treatment in time.
