What to do if your child sneezes and has a runny nose

Care for young children must be comprehensive, especially when the child is feeling unwell, parents should immediately send the child to the hospital for examination to see what the child's specific condition is. This will also be of great help in improving the child's problems. What should we do if the child sneezes and has a runny nose? The common cause of this situation is a cold. Medicines for treating children's colds are a good choice. If it is not a cold, treatment should be carried out according to the doctor's advice.

What to do if your child sneezes and has a runny nose:

If the baby has a stuffy nose, parents can use the index finger and thumb to pinch the nose bridge, and gently massage the baby's nose bridge from top to bottom, which will quickly clear the nose.

Or you can rub your back with your palms until it becomes warm. This way your nose will usually hurt. My husband usually uses this method when I have a cold, haha.

Or you can use a clean towel or gauze, dip it in boiling water, wring it out (although it is very hot), then wrap it in layers, and apply it to the base of the baby's nose when it is no longer hot.

If the baby has a runny nose, parents can use a soft handkerchief to wipe the runny nose. Because the baby's skin is very delicate, wiping too much will make the baby feel uncomfortable. So after wiping the nose, you can cover it with a wet towel and then lightly apply a little oil to prevent skin cracking and pain.

After knowing what to do if a young child sneezes and has a runny nose, if this happens frequently in your child, you can treat it according to the above methods. However, when using these methods, you must also pay attention to the child's physical condition. If the child feels unwell, you must stop using these methods, otherwise it will cause other problems for the child.
