What are the emergency measures for a heart attack?

Heart disease is a very serious type of disease, which is characterized by its high incidence. If emergency treatment is not given in time, it will have a great impact on the patient's health and may even threaten the patient's life. Therefore, it is very important to know the first aid measures for sudden heart attack. So, what are the first aid measures for sudden heart attack? Let’s take a closer look below.

When someone suddenly loses consciousness and falls to the ground, they should be laid flat immediately and first aid should be provided on the spot. Pat their cheeks and call for help. At the same time, touch their carotid artery with your hand to determine whether there is a pulse. If there is no response and no arterial pulse, cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be performed immediately. First, tilt the head back to clear the airway, then perform effective chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration at the same time.

The patient's precordial area should be punched immediately, with the punching area being the nipple area on the patient's left chest. The number of punches is generally 2-3 times, the punches should be powerful, and then cardiac massage should be performed immediately. When massaging, apply force evenly, place one palm flat on the patient's chest wall at the lower part of the sternum, and press the other palm on the back of the hand, pressing vertically up and down.

When providing first aid to a person who has died suddenly, artificial respiration and cardiac massage should be performed simultaneously. First, untie the patient's collar and belt, let him lie flat, take out a pillow and put it under his shoulders, use one hand to straighten the patient's neck, make the head tilted up as far as possible, open the airway, then pinch the patient's nostrils with one hand, and blow air after the first aider's lips are tightly closed with the patient's lips.

The above is an introduction to the first aid measures for sudden heart attack. I hope it will be helpful to everyone. When a heart attack occurs suddenly, the situation is extremely critical. At this time, appropriate measures must be taken in time for emergency treatment. Otherwise, it will definitely cause very serious consequences and even threaten the patient's life.
