It is an effective method for treating apical periodontitis of deciduous teeth.

(1) Conventional cavity preparation: remove carious tissue to prepare the cavity, open the pulp, and remove the pulp chamber roof;

(2) Root canal preparation: remove the necrotic pulp in the pulp chamber and root canal, and use root canal instruments to expand the root canal;

(3) Root canal deblueing: rinse the root canal with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, 5.25% sodium hypochlorite solution, or normal saline, and then dry it. Place a small cotton ball dipped in formaldehyde cresol, creosote oil or camphor phenol solution in the pulp chamber, or place a cotton twist containing medicine in the root canal, and seal the cavity and disinfect the root canal with clove oil zinc oxide paste;

(4) Root canal filling: If there are no symptoms after 3 to 7 days, remove the original sealing medicine, rinse and dry, and under effective moisture-proof conditions, repeatedly rotate the root canal filling material into the root canal or add salt to the root canal, pad the bottom with cement powder, and fill.

If the inflammation cannot be controlled or there is still exudate in the fistula, the sealing medication can be changed and the root canal filling can be performed after the symptoms subside.
