Prevention and treatment of common childhood diseases

In this season, babies always have some diseases, which make parents feel very scared. So in order to prevent the occurrence of these diseases, we need to do a good job of prevention in our daily life, so that we can create a healthy body for our baby. However, babies are prone to many diseases, and different levels of diseases have different prevention methods. Let us learn about them in detail below.

The most common disease in this season is heatstroke, which is caused by excessive sulfur content in the human body. If we drink very little water every day, the water in our body will be slowly lost. If we remain in this state for a long time, it will cause heatstroke.

Prevention: To prevent heatstroke in young children, first of all, you should open windows for ventilation in the room and use electric fans or air conditioners to lower the room temperature. Let your children dress in loose and breathable clothes, bathe them frequently, change their clothes frequently, and let them drink water frequently. When engaging in outdoor activities, avoid strong sunlight. It is best not to go out two hours before or after noon, and wear a sun hat when going out.

Countermeasures: Move the child who has heatstroke to a cool place and bathe the child in water about two degrees lower than the child's body temperature for 30 minutes each time, twice a day. When the body temperature is high, you can use alcohol and an equal amount of water to wipe the neck, armpits, groin and limbs. You can eat salt water, watermelon juice, 5% sugar water, etc. You can also take some medicines such as Ren Dan, Shi Di Shui, Huoxiang Zhengqi Shui, and take some antipyretic drugs if necessary.

skin disease

Young children's skin is delicate and easily damaged by viruses, bacteria and other factors, causing local redness, inflammation and prickly heat. Prickly heat can occur in any part of the body, most commonly on the head, face, neck, chest and buttocks. It causes itching and a slight burning sensation, and is prone to forming cysts and folliculitis. After scratching, it can easily turn into impetigo.

Impetigo is a contagious skin disease. Children with severe symptoms may experience swollen adjacent lymph nodes, fever, etc. Some may also develop complications such as sepsis, rheumatic fever and acute nephritis in children.

Prevention: The main method is to keep the skin clean, take a bath frequently, and change sweaty clothes in time. For children who have prickly heat, do not let them scratch, do not wash with hot water or alkaline soap, and do not use cold water for stimulation. Instead, bathe with warm water and apply antipruritic agents. In addition, children should drink more water and replenish water in time. They can eat more mung bean soup, winter melon soup, watermelon, honeysuckle dew, etc., which can help dispel heat, remove dampness and detoxify.

Countermeasures: For children suffering from impetigo, they should take frequent baths and cut their nails frequently, and apply ointments such as gentian violet, chloramphenicol, neomycin, etc. to the impetigo. Do not abuse hormone ointments such as "Fu-Lessing" to prevent the spread of skin lesions and aggravate the condition. For some young children with poor spirits, loss of appetite, and slightly swollen face, we should be alert to the complication of acute nephritis. They need to do routine urine tests. If nephritis is confirmed, treatment should be provided as soon as possible.

This is all I have to say about the prevention and treatment of common childhood diseases. I hope this will be helpful to you. Because the baby's body is very weak, some diseases may occur. These diseases can cause terrible harm to the baby's health and may even cause complications. So when a disease occurs, we must actively treat it to provide a protective film for our baby's body.
