Three principles of a healthy diet for young children

A reasonable diet for children can not only replenish energy, but also enhance the baby's resistance. Parents should follow the following principles to reasonably match meals for their babies.

Main and secondary pairing

Pay special attention to the balance of various nutrients in children's breakfast. The custom in our country is that the diet at noon and dinner is relatively rich, with large amounts of vegetables, meat, and beans. The breakfast is not very particular. This is very uncomfortable for children. According to surveys, most children have a simple breakfast, often without any side dishes. Some primary school students feel sleepy, dizzy and unable to concentrate during the third or fourth class in the morning. This is because I didn’t have a good breakfast. In the morning, don't be afraid to let your children take a piece of dry food and eat it while walking. Prepare a complete breakfast for your child that includes both staple and non-staple foods. For example, fried dough sticks, sesame cakes, etc. are served with assorted pickles, spiced soybeans, meat floss, soy milk, millet porridge, etc.

Thick and thin combination

Although refined foods such as white flour and rice are delicious, they are nutritionally monotonous and lack the amino acids necessary for the human body. Corn and soybeans in staple foods, celery, leeks, etc. in side dishes, in addition to containing a large amount of nutrients, also contain crude fiber, which can promote the development of children's chewing muscles and gastrointestinal tract. In children's diet, adding appropriate proportions of coarse grains and vegetables is more beneficial to their health.

Dry and liquid combination

"Porridge is the best thing in the world for nourishing people." Children’s diet must not be without porridge, which is the best food. In order to make children like to drink porridge, you can use rice to make red date porridge, mung bean porridge, radish porridge, etc. In this way, it tastes delicious and long-lasting, and has the medical functions of nourishing the spleen and stomach, clearing away heat and detoxifying, and resolving phlegm and promoting diuresis.
