Baby's forehead is cold

Baby's forehead is cold

If your baby has a cold forehead, it is most likely a symptom caused by cold. Catching a cold can cause babies to experience various symptoms, such as vomiting, diarrhea, etc. In order to reduce the pain caused by this health problem to the baby, parents can give their baby the following foods after finding that the baby has caught a cold, to promote the baby's recovery and make the baby healthier!

1. Ginger and brown sugar water

After the baby catches a cold and vomits, you can drink a small amount of ginger and brown sugar water, which can warm the stomach and stop vomiting. If the baby does not vomit after drinking water, you can drink small amounts of water multiple times. Never drink a large amount of water at one time, which will irritate the gastrointestinal tract and cause vomiting again.

Method: Put ginger and brown sugar in a pot and boil. It is ready to serve when the sugar melts. Make sure your baby drinks the drink warm, not too hot or too cold.

2. Radish leaf brown sugar water

Ingredients: radish leaves, boiling water, brown sugar water.

Preparation: Mash the radish leaves to extract the juice, take it with boiled water or add brown sugar water to treat vomiting.

3. Garlic honey water

Ingredients: one or two cloves of garlic, boiling water, and honey water.

Preparation method: Burn the garlic, mash it into a paste and take it with boiling water and honey. It is suitable for vomiting.

4. Walnut powder

Ingredients: one walnut, ginger soup, astragalus, and rice wine.

Method: Burn the walnuts into ashes, grind them into fine powder, and use it to treat vomiting.

For those with cold stomach, take ginger soup; for those with hot stomach, take 20 grams of Scutellaria baicalensis boiled in water; for those with qi stagnation, take rice wine.

5. Hot puree

Fruits such as apples, strawberries, and grapes are all helpful in stopping vomiting. Since the baby's vomiting is caused by cold, the baby should not be fed pure fruits as it is not conducive to gastrointestinal adaptation. If the fruit is cooked, it can neutralize the acid in the stomach and intestines, which is more conducive to warming the stomach and intestines and achieving the effect of stopping vomiting.

6. Soft food

After the baby catches a cold and vomits, the stomach is relatively fragile, so the baby should be fed soft liquid or semi-liquid food, and then slowly transitioned to full food. This will allow the stomach to slowly adapt.

Recommended recipes:

Noodles: Cook the baby noodles until soft, add some bone broth for seasoning, which can also enhance the baby's immunity.
