What’s wrong with my 2-year-old baby’s white spots on his fingernails?

The nails of a two-year-old baby at home are usually pink. If you don’t find half-moons on your baby’s nails, don’t worry too much. This is very normal for babies. However, some parents discovered that their two-year-old babies had some white spots on their fingernails, which they had never seen before. This situation often means that the baby has worms in his body and can be treated with appropriate deworming.

If there is a worm in a child's stomach, it will not only affect his normal eating, but may also affect his digestive function and thus affect his growth. When your baby shows these symptoms, it is possible that there are worms in the stomach. Mothers should pay close attention to it.

1. Not feeling like eating. If a child has recently become anorexic and eats very little, and if the child refuses to eat his favorite food when his mother makes it, it can basically be inferred that there are worms in the child's stomach.

2. Always complaining about having stomachache. If your child often complains of abdominal discomfort, and the pain is around the navel or in the upper abdomen. This also shows that the child has something in his stomach.

3. White spots on the face. White spots appear on the child's nails, and there are pale white round or other shaped spots on the face, with some grayish scales on the surface. This is also a condition caused by worms in the stomach.

4. Grinding teeth and drooling. When the child is sleeping, he always grinds his teeth, drools, and often scratches around his anus.

5. Slowed development. If a child eats a lot but doesn't seem to grow, it may be because there are worms in the baby's body, because the worms will digest the nutrients the child eats. In this way, the child will not gain weight, and will develop slowly, which will affect the child's growth.

If a child has worms in his body, you can crush the raw pumpkin seeds, boil them into water, and let the child drink it about 1 to 2 times a day, or you can fry the pumpkin seeds and let the child eat them with the shell. These are all good ways to suppress the worms.
