What to do if a two-year-old baby has hemorrhoids

Babies are the apple of parents' eyes. Now many people know that since babies are in a developmental stage in the early stages, their immunity and some other functions are in the developmental state, so some problems are prone to occur at this time. Some two-year-old babies suffer from hemorrhoids in their daily lives. When they suffer from this condition, parents are naturally very worried. So what kind of treatment should be used for a two-year-old baby with hemorrhoids?

1. What to do if your 2-year-old baby has hemorrhoids

First: Pay attention to anal hygiene at ordinary times, do not wipe the anus with dirty paper or cardboard, and wash it with warm water after defecation. This can prevent hemorrhoid infections.

Second: You should eat less irritating foods, because these foods can irritate the mucous membrane skin of the rectum and anus, causing obvious congestion, which aggravates the symptoms of hemorrhoidal bleeding and prolapse.

2. Symptoms of hemorrhoids in 2-year-old babies

1. Connective tissue external hemorrhoids are named because of their shape, and are also called skin hemorrhoids, skin sagging and skin-related external hemorrhoids. This type of external hemorrhoids is characterized by thickening and hypertrophy of the skin folds at the edge of the anus, with connective tissue hyperplasia, no varicose veins inside the hemorrhoids, very few blood vessels, a wide base and long tip, yellowish-brown or brown-black in color, protruding and easy to see, and varying in size and shape. Sometimes there is only one, in the middle behind or in front of the anus, and sometimes there are several around the anus.

2. Varicose external hemorrhoids are caused by the varicose veins of the external hemorrhoidal plexus below the dentate line, forming round, oval or prismatic soft lumps at the edge of the anus. If there is edema, the shape will become larger.

3. Inflammatory external hemorrhoids, etiology and pathology: often caused by infection after anal damage, or anal fissures causing inflammation and edema of the anal folds. Hemorrhoid patients feel burning pain, wetness and itching in the anus, and the symptoms worsen after defecation or excessive activity. During examination, the anal folds were found to be congested, swollen, and with a small amount of secretions.

3. Is it serious for a 2-year-old baby to have hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids are a very common phenomenon. Many people think that this is a very difficult disease to treat. However, if you seize the time and control it in the early stages, it will generally not cause lesions. Especially for children, the problem should be solved as early as possible, so as to reduce the damage of hemorrhoids to the skin and avoid skin diseases.
