What do you need to prepare for a newborn?

5. Health care medicine box: medical sterile gauze, medical bandages and adhesive tape rolls, sterile cotton swabs, Band-Aids, 1 pair of scissors and tweezers, 1 thermometer, 1 bottle of disinfectant, 1 tube of antibiotic ointment.

6. Others: 1 baby stroller, 1 pair of pediatric nail clippers, 1 baby carrier (it is very convenient to hold the baby when going out, you can buy a multifunctional one).

Things to note when purchasing newborn supplies

1. Don't buy a whole set of baby clothes from the store because every baby has different needs.

2. Don't prepare too many clothes at one time: estimate how many sets of baby clothes you need based on how often you wash clothes. If you wash it every day, you can buy less.

3. It would be best if a friend gave you old baby clothes as a gift. In the first few months, your baby may need to change clothes several times a day. So many clothes will cost a lot of money, and the baby will grow up quickly, so these clothes will be eliminated quickly. So if a friend gives you old baby clothes, accept them happily; it can save you a lot of money.

4. If it is not an urgent necessity, you can postpone the purchase because your friends may give it to you as a gift at any time.

5. When buying clothes for your baby, remember that convenience and comfort come first, and fashionable and cute appearance comes second.

6. When choosing baby furniture, practicality and safety are far more important than appearance and style.

7. Cleaning supplies: Buy only what you need. Also, choose those that do not contain alcohol and try not to add artificial colors, preservatives or other chemical additives.

8. Medicine box: prepare all the medicines that you may need. Don’t worry about preparing too much, because there are no signs when your baby will be uncomfortable.
