Diseases are a very common phenomenon in people's lives, and among the many diseases, skin diseases are the most troublesome. Many skin diseases not only cause itching to patients, but also greatly affect their image. Rosacea is such a common skin disease, and this disease is more common in spring and autumn. So, what causes rosacea? First, what causes rosacea? From a medical point of view, roseola is actually an infection with the herpes simplex virus type 6 or 7, with the most common being infection with the herpes simplex virus type 6, and only a few are caused by infection with the herpes simplex virus type 7. Babies over 6 months old are most susceptible to roseola, because before 6 months old, the baby's body has antibodies from the mother. Once six months after birth, these antibodies will gradually disappear, making it easy for the baby to be infected by some germs. 95% of infants and young children will develop roseola before the age of 2. Some children will show no symptoms at all, while others will have a fever for a few days. The severity of the disease is determined by the baby's physical constitution. However, roseola cannot be diagnosed during the baby's fever period. It can only be highly suspected and a definitive diagnosis can only be made after the rash appears. Second, the herpes virus types 6 and 7 that cause the disease can survive and move in the air at any time, and the route of infection for babies suffering from roseola is through oral saliva and breathing. Some parents may be curious: "My child has never been outside, why did he get roseola?" In fact, many adults have herpes virus types 6 and 7 in their bodies, but because adults have more antibodies, they will not get sick. However, if an adult kisses a baby or accidentally transfers saliva to the baby, the baby may be infected with the roseola virus. In addition, if the baby has been in a daycare center, the virus may be transmitted through the respiratory droplets of other children. Since the roseola virus is widespread and almost all babies will be infected, and there are not many serious complications, prevention is not usually advocated. What causes rosacea? Get adequate sun exposure and avoid direct sunlight. Because patients with pityriasis rosea have damaged melanocytes and low defense against ultraviolet rays, they should avoid exposure to the sun, which inhibits the production of melanin and aggravates the condition. The ultraviolet rays in sunlight can promote the metabolism of melanin, so proper sun exposure can transfer melanocytes to the cortex, darken the skin color, and thus facilitate the treatment of pityriasis rosea. |
