Can newborns hear?

After a newborn's birth, the child's sensory nerves are not yet fully developed. At this time, the child also has a certain hearing ability. For example, when the child is 1 to 3 months old, he will turn his head when he hears a sound. As the child develops well, when he is about eight months old, the parents call the child's name and the child can understand. It is also important to conduct certain cleaning training during the infant period.

Can newborns hear?

Babies have a considerable level of hearing ability when they are born. In the early stages, they distinguish their parents by distinguishing different people's voices. Later, they recognize their parents' appearance through vision. Babies aged 1-3 months will turn their heads when they hear voices, and will pause when they hear sounds while crying. At 4-6 months old, babies have the ability to coordinate vision and hearing, and can quickly turn their heads to find the source of a sound. When an adult calls the baby's name, the baby will look at the adult and smile. An 8-month-old baby can already understand his own name and the meaning of "no".

How to do auditory training?

1. Auditory training: Knocking on objects that can make various sounds, such as cups, wooden blocks, iron cylinders, etc., to encourage their interest in the sounds made by objects of different textures.

2. Turn the head after listening to the sound: Parents hold the baby in a sitting position and practice listening to various sounds, such as music, clapping, small bells, clocks, etc., 15 cm away from one side of the baby's ear. Guide the baby to turn his head to find the source of the sound, and then put the sound-making object to the other side of the baby's ear to train the baby to turn his head to find the sound.

Therefore, new parents need to pay more attention to the baby's condition, whether it is the overall condition or whether some organs have reached normal levels. They should understand the various growth stages of the baby and make corresponding judgments in time to avoid problems that delay the best treatment time. They should seek help from a doctor in time to achieve the best treatment effect.
