What can’t babies eat if they have eczema? Young parents, watch out.

Nowadays, we live in an era of relatively abundant material life. Many parents will feed their babies some very nutritious food, but this practice is dangerous. Many delicacies are good for adults, but may not be good for babies.

1. What should babies not eat when they have eczema

1. Avoid allergenic foods. If you find allergenic foods in the diet, such as fish, shrimp, crab, beef, mutton, chicken, duck, goose, pollen, etc., these foods should be completely avoided to avoid allergic reactions, which may cause the baby's eczema to relapse or worsen the condition.

2. Avoid spicy food. Do not eat spicy foods such as onions, garlic, ginger, chili peppers, and peppercorns. They consume yin and support yang, which is an irritation to eczema and should be avoided.

3. Avoid foods that cause dampness, bleeding, or anger. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that people with skin eczema should avoid eating damp foods, such as bamboo shoots, taro, beef, onions, ginger, pears, garlic, leeks, etc.; foods that cause blood to flow, such as water chestnuts and pepper; and foods that cause qi to flow, such as lamb, lotus seeds, and water chestnuts.

2. What to eat for baby eczema

The main cause of infant eczema is intolerance or allergy to food, inhaled or contact substances. Heat and humidity can cause eczema to manifest itself most significantly. Here are some delicious recipes that can relieve baby's eczema.

1. General Eggs. The ingredients are eggs and raw rhubarb. Rhubarb can clear away heat, detoxify and moisten dryness, while eggs can be used as a seasoning.

2. Honeysuckle honey rice curd. The ingredients include almonds, mung beans, glutinous rice, honeysuckle, honey and a small amount of alum. If babies have impetigo or eczema, eating this product can clear away heat and dampness, nourish blood and dispel wind, inhibit the invasion of various bacteria and viruses on human skin, and can eliminate itching, dampness, etc.

3. Mung bean porridge. Ingredients: mung beans, glutinous rice, and a little rock sugar. Mung beans are cool in nature and sweet in taste, and have strong medicinal properties. Therefore, this porridge can clear away heat and cool blood, promote dampness and remove toxins, and is suitable for babies suffering from eczema.

4. Sophora flavescens eggs. The raw materials are eggs, Sophora flavescens and brown sugar. Sophora flavescens can clear away heat and detoxify, while eggs can moisturize dryness.

5. Take 30 grams of fresh loofah, cut it into small pieces, put it into a pot of water and cook it, then add salt and let the baby drink the soup and eat the loofah together. It is effective in treating eczema.

3. How to care for baby eczema

1. Adjust your diet reasonably. Avoid eating allergic foods, insist on breastfeeding, and add complementary foods in time. Babies who are allergic to milk can be fed with soy milk, goat milk, etc. instead of milk. Babies who are allergic to eggs can eat egg yolks alone.

2. Pay attention to the baby's digestive function and keep the bowels open. Digestive aids can be used.

3. Try to avoid all external stimuli. Clothes should be soft and loose-fitting. Wool or chemical fiber clothes should not be worn directly against the skin. Avoid contact with animals such as cats and dogs to prevent children from scratching their skin due to itching.

4. Babies with eczema are afraid of heat, so try to keep the environment cool.

5. Protect skin from infection. Because eczema causes the skin to become rough and flaky, it is very susceptible to bacterial infection. If the child with eczema has some serious skin damage, the child must be bathed every day to remove bacteria and debris on the rough surface of the eczema.

6. Do not use medicines indiscriminately. Babies have thin and tender skin, and improper use of medicines often worsens the condition. Parents must not abuse antibiotics and do not use single or folk remedies casually. During eczema, you should consult a doctor before getting vaccinated to avoid systemic reactions.
