3-year-old baby recipes

In order to maintain the baby's normal physiological functions and meet the needs of growth and development, the baby must be provided with six essential nutrients for the human body every day. The six major nutrients that babies aged 1-3 years old need every day are: protein, fat, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins and water.

1. Vegetarian Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients: 4 slices of toast, 2 slices of lettuce, 2 slices of cheese, 1 pickle, 1 egg, ketchup, Thousand Island dressing, and water.

Method: Wash the eggs and put them into a pot, pour in water, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat and cook for 8 minutes. Take out and let cool naturally. Slice the pickles, wash and drain the lettuce, and cut the boiled eggs into thin slices. Put the toast into the bread machine, press the switch, wait for it to pop up automatically, then take it out, cut off the four sides of the toast, and spread a layer of Thousand Island dressing on it. Then put a layer of ketchup, a piece of lettuce, a slice of cheese, and a layer of egg slices. Then add a layer of pickle slices. Finally, add a layer of toast. Once secured with toothpicks, cut the sandwich diagonally.

2. Mini Fruit Sandwiches

Ingredients: 4 slices of toast, 1 kiwi, 1 tablespoon of strawberry jam, 1 spoon of jam.

Cut off the hard edges of the toast slices. Take 1 slice of toast and spread it with strawberry jam and cover the toast. Place kiwi slices on toast. Cover with another slice of toast, spread pineapple jam on the toast, then cover the top with the last slice of toast, and then cut into small triangles.

Essential nutrition for children's development

1. Calories: Children's metabolism is very active, so they need a lot of calories.

2. Protein: Mainly used for the body to build new tissues.

3. Fat: In addition to providing a considerable amount of calories, the most important function of fat is to provide fatty acids for children's growth and development, as well as to maintain skin health.

4. Vitamins: Generally, vitamins can be obtained from daily food or other nutritional supplements.

5. Minerals: For babies 4 months after birth, because the iron stored in the body has been used up, it is necessary to add appropriate iron nutrition to meet the body's needs for iron.
