Child coughs and wheezing in the lungs

Child coughs and wheezing in the lungs

Children's lungs are very fragile when they are at school, so many children are prone to pneumonia when they have a fever when they are young. When a child's pneumonia does not heal for a long time, the child's breathing will be affected to a certain extent, and wheezing may occur in the throat. At this time, we must actively treat the child and never let the child develop a disease. So what should we do if the child coughs and has wheezing in the lungs?

This is pediatric pneumonia, and the nature of the pneumonia needs to be further clarified. Pay attention to the following points when having diarrhea in children

Feed reasonably, encourage breastfeeding, add complementary foods in time, avoid weaning in summer, disinfect feeding utensils and feeding utensils regularly, avoid overheating or cold when the climate changes, pay special attention to keeping the abdomen warm, and keep the room ventilated.

Children with diarrhea should be sent to the hospital promptly to determine the cause. For children with mild diarrhea, their diet should be adjusted and easily digestible food should be given to reduce the burden on the gastrointestinal tract. At the same time, give appropriate drinks such as porridge, rice, vegetable soup, orange juice, etc. to prevent dehydration.

Children with severe diarrhea should be given timely fluid replacement, correction of electrolyte imbalance and appropriate anti-infection treatment.

Children with diarrhea have more frequent bowel movements, and the skin and mucous membranes around the anus are prone to redness or erosion. Therefore, parents should pay special attention to the anal area when caring for their children. After each bowel movement, gently wipe it with soft straw paper, wash it with water, dry it, and apply oily ointment to prevent red buttocks.

The child has cough and wheezing, and moist rales and wheezing in the lungs, so wheezing pneumonia is suspected. Cefuroxime and Xiyanping can be given for treatment, assisted by air pump nebulization inhalation, and cough and phlegm syrup can be taken orally if necessary.
