Is it good for children to eat mulberries?

Children's bodies are relatively weaker than those of adults because they lack sufficient resistance. In life, children must be selective when eating food and must not eat food that may cause harm to the body. Small foods and snacks must be chosen carefully. Of course, it is very good for children to eat more fruits and other foods, so the question is, can children eat mulberries?

1. You can eat in moderation

Babies can eat mulberries, but they must be eaten in moderation. When eating, it is recommended to divide the daily amount of mulberries into several days for the baby to eat, rather than eating too much at one time. One reason is that mulberries are cold in nature and difficult to digest. Eating too much will affect the baby's gastrointestinal digestion and damage the baby's spleen and stomach, especially for babies who already have weak spleen and stomach. The second reason is that mulberries contain a large amount of trypsin inhibitor - tannic acid, which will affect the baby's absorption of iron, calcium, zinc and other substances. If your baby experiences severe abdominal pain or diarrhea after eating, especially if the stool is bloody, you should send your baby to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment immediately.

2. The efficacy of mulberry

Mulberries can nourish the liver and kidneys, nourish yin and blood, and are especially effective for blackening hair. In addition, it can calm the wind, clear the liver and improve eyesight, sober up, improve sleep, enhance body immunity, delay aging, beautify and nourish the skin, lower blood lipids, and prevent cancer. Mulberry powder is rich in protein, multiple essential amino acids, fructose that is easily absorbed by the human body, multiple vitamins, mineral elements such as iron, calcium, zinc, trace elements such as selenium, carotene, cellulose, etc.

3. Taboo

Children should not eat too many mulberries, as excessive consumption can cause nosebleeds. This is because mulberries contain more trypsin inhibitors, which will affect our body's absorption of iron, calcium, zinc and other substances. Unripe mulberries cannot be eaten. Because mulberries contain hemolytic allergens and hyaluronic acid, hemolytic enteritis can easily occur after excessive consumption. Mulberries should not be stored in iron containers because they will decompose acidic substances and produce a chemical reaction with iron to cause poisoning, even death in severe cases.
