What to do if your child has a fever and says he is cold

Children often suffer from fever and cold symptoms, which are more serious. Because some children have very weak body resistance. Once you are infected by a virus or bacteria, you are likely to get sick. Sometimes we find that children’s fever problem is very serious because fever often causes other disease problems. Therefore, we need to avoid fever as much as possible, but what should we do if our children have a fever but say they are cold?

If a child has a fever, you can use a thermometer to measure the child's temperature first. If the temperature exceeds 38 degrees, it is more serious. If it is over 37, it is not very serious. Then decide whether to go to the hospital based on the baby's body temperature. In order to prevent the body from being burned by excessive temperature, you need to apply a fever-reducing patch or a forehead mask to lower the body temperature.

Children are prone to dehydration after having a fever, so they need to drink plenty of water so that bacteria and viruses can be excreted from the body. Then, don't eat too greasy food, spicy food, cold food or fruit. Then drink more porridge and liquid food so that it is easier for the stomach to digest.

When a child has a fever, they should not be covered too thickly, as this will increase the child's temperature. It's fine as long as it's suitable, and the room should also be kept well ventilated. If there is no improvement, you need to go to the hospital, otherwise the baby's brain will be seriously affected by the severe fever. You should take antipyretics, anti-inflammatory drugs and other medicines under the doctor's instructions. Only by taking care of yourself and taking medicine at the same time can you recover faster.
