The child vomits repeatedly even when drinking water.

Repeated vomiting in children is a relatively common phenomenon. This situation is mostly caused by indigestion in the baby. In addition, lack of exercise and water loss in the baby's body can also cause the baby to vomit continuously. After the baby vomits, if the symptoms are mild, certain methods can be used to care for him. Of course, if the condition is serious, you need to go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time.

1. What to do if your baby vomits

1. Vomiting in babies is mostly caused by indigestion, but may also be caused by cold or improper feeding. In this case, feeding should be done on time and small and frequent meals should be encouraged.

2. Because the baby may not exercise enough, gastrointestinal discomfort may occur. You can give your baby abdominal massage to promote digestion and improve gastrointestinal function. Normal massage method: Gently massage the baby's abdomen in a clockwise direction.

3. Continuous vomiting may cause the baby to lose water in the body, so it is appropriate to let the child drink some water after vomiting to make up for the loss of water in the body. Especially in case of recurrent vomiting, you can drink small amounts of cold boiled water or ice water multiple times during the fasting period, while drinking warm water can easily cause vomiting.

4. If your baby occasionally vomits, you can let him eat some white porridge to allow the stomach to get enough rest and facilitate recovery. You can add a little salt, but no oil. Then slowly increase the amount of food until you can eat rice, but it is better to eat light and easily digestible food.

5. If diarrhea and vomiting are severe, and even symptoms of dehydration such as thirst, sunken eye sockets, and decreased skin elasticity appear, you should seek medical attention immediately.

2. What to eat after vomiting

1. Pear shreds and lotus root starch

Ingredients: 1/4 pear, 2 spoons of lotus root powder.

Method: 1. First cut the pear into thin strips, and then cut the strips into small pieces about 1 cm in size.

2. Rinse the lotus root powder with warm water, and sprinkle the shredded pear on it or mix well before eating.

Features: Pears can inhibit vomiting, have a refreshing taste, and stimulate baby's appetite.

2. Apple porridge

Ingredients: one apple (2 cm square), rice, and appropriate amount of water starch.

Method: 1. Grind the apples.

2. Put apple shreds in a small pot, add boiling water and bring to a boil, then add water starch to thicken.

3. Cook the rice into porridge and pour the apple paste on it.

Features: Apple can regulate gastrointestinal function.

3. Hawthorn Rice Porridge

Ingredients: 2 to 3 hawthorns, an appropriate amount of rice, and a slice of fresh ginger.

Method: 1. Wash, peel, remove the stems and core of the hawthorn.

2. Steam the hawthorns in a steamer and mash them with the back of a spoon.

3. Boil the rice into porridge, add hawthorn paste and fresh ginger slices into the porridge and mix evenly. Remove the fresh ginger slices before eating.

Features: Hawthorn helps digestion, its sweet and sour taste stimulates the baby's appetite, and the taste of fresh ginger also prevents vomiting.
